Saint John Eudes Seminary exists to be a progressive voice of tradition, "Proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance." (Acts 28:31) as it prepares priests, deacons, religious and the laity for mission.
Leadership Statement
The mission of the Seminary is carried out under the leadership of the Presiding Bishop of the United American Catholic Church and the College of Bishops guided by the wisdom and tradition of the Catholic Faith.
Vision Statement
Saint Eudes Seminary will form humble Deacons, Priests, Religious, and Laity called to holiness and divinely inspired ministry.
The Seminary was founded in 2019 by Most Rev. Anthony Hash, OSB, the first Presiding Bishop of the UACC. The Seminary's goal is to affordably educate students not only in the faith but especially in practical ministry. Unique in its approach, Saint John Eudes offers a three-year program apportioned into eight-week sessions. Classes can be started at any time and are completed at a speed set by the seminarian. Courses currently range from the basics of theology, homiletics, and Biblical studies to parish planting, discipleship, and chaplaincy. The Seminary also provides free Continuing Education Classes for UACC clergy. Courses will also be available to our Benedictine and Franciscan Novices.
The Seminary works closely with the UACC Vocations Office and Director of Vocations to ensure that each seminarian acquires a solid education and spiritual base.
At this time, the Seminary is unable to accept applicants from outside the denomination.
