Who We Are : Principles, Beliefs and Canons : Introduction

UACC Purpose Statement: The purpose of the United American Church is to glorify God in all things by loving and serving all of God's people. So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God. (I Corinthians 10:31)

UACC Mission Statement: The United American Catholic Church is called to be a Missional Church, offering every person a spiritual home wherein each is empowered to live a Gospel-based life and to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

UACC Vision Statement: We are driven by a desire to spread the Good News of Christ's love to the world in person, word and action.

Therefore, as a family following the Way of Christ, we envision:

  • The greater dissemination of Independent Catholic heritage, especially that of the United American Catholic Church, through electronic means, educational programs and literature;
  • A Church that creates ministries as and where needed, building a Kingdom of justice and peace through parishes that serve all people as Christ among us;
  • A Church of healing that empowers the laity through worship, prayer, liturgy and sacraments.

I, Anthony Hash, Archbishop of the United American Catholic Church, call upon the bishops, priests, deacons, religious and laity of the Archdiocese to adopt this Vision of our Mission so that we will be a Church of doers, not just hearers of the Word!
